In this episode, we delve into the story of Umm Saeed, a traditional healer who inherited her knowledge of folk medicine from her father. Umm Saeed is a strong believer in the effectiveness of traditional practices and is deeply skeptical of modern medicine. She perceives contemporary doctors as deceivers who mislead people and take their money through false claims.
My role in this project was as the cinematographer, capturing the essence of her story through compelling visuals. Additionally, I handled the color grading, ensuring the video’s tone matched the authenticity and depth of her world. The final result is a visually immersive portrayal of Umm Saeed’s unique perspective on traditional healing.
